3 Mobile Broadband on the Mac – USB drivers

A lot of people have contacted me who are having trouble installing and getting the 3 USB dongle installed on Intel based Mac’s it turns out that some additonal software needs to be installed for the bundled data card applications to work correctly. I have included links below to the files needed (the first is the USB dongle driver) – just remember they are only for Intel based Mac’s and Macbooks

Thanks for this – have been going around in circles trying to get the additional drivers needed to run the 3 broadband dongle! 3 technical help were not very knowledgable on macs and just kept me on the phone line repeating steps, until I lost my patience. Pity they are advertising these as ready to use on Macs -10.4 upwards when clearly they are not!

    Paul,

I checked the packaging on my 3 Mobile broadband. Windows 98 is not supported. You need Windows 2000 minimum to get it to work at all.

    HTH.

    Torbayman.
