hi for some reason when i try to open up mobile broadband on my mac the screen doesnt open. i verified the disk for the broadband to see what was wrong and it said that the disk was corrupted. Does anyone know how i can fix this. It was working fine two days ago and i start uni soon so i really need the internet to work. Nothing out of the ordinary happened to make it this way that i can tell. it was working one night and stoped working the next morning. Its also working fine on the pc so i really have no idea what the problem is.

You just have to share it at the worst fileshare location. That is so helpful.

I got a 3 mobile broadband and have been trying to get it to work on my macbook pro (10.6/ snow leopard)... It installs the software but then won't connect to the internet and says 'modem not ready'

Have had it for almost 48 hours now, any clues as to why it's not working??

Paul,

I checked the packaging on my 3 Mobile broadband. Windows 98 is not supported. You need Windows 2000 minimum to get it to work at all.

HTH.

Thanks for this - have been going around in circles trying to get the additional drivers needed to run the 3 broadband dongle! 3 technical help were not very knowledgable on macs and just kept me on the phone line repeating steps, until I lost my patience. Pity they are advertising these as ready to use on Macs -10.4 upwards when clearly they are not!
