Its a pure frustration.

Shame!

The network in my area is grossly overloaded and it seems that 3 are doing very little to improve things. I was told before Christmas that the network was being upgraded to 7.2 Mb/s before the end of 2008.

It is now May of 2009, and I STILL don’t get any better than a dial-up 56k modem at the times when I most want to use it. I had a modem 10 years ago that gave me a better performance.

There may be a 700% increase in traffic, but there isn’t a 700% increase in network support.

To anyone considering mobile broadband: think carefully before signing the contract.

I guess that at £10 a month you pay for what you get, but colleagues of mine have modems from other companies and have none of the problems I do.
