Customers buying 3 Mobile broadband can now chose the new slimline USB stick instead of the standard pebble type modem . The new stick offers the same speed and performance as the traditional 3 modem but eliminates the need for the short usb cable by plugging directly into your machine , this is likely to appeal to laptop users who are looking for the most lightweight and portable modem.
Vodafone have been offering a similar USB stick for sometime now and has proved a great sucess for them and im sure 3 stick will be just as popular for more information please visit 3 Mobile Broadband

Hi,
I got one of those new 3 Stick modems in black today at our local 3 Store. This was under the half price offer to existing 3 customers (7Gb month + free modem = £12.50 month)
Speed has topped at around 1.1mb so far but in prctical use works quite swiftly with youtube and internet radio working faultlessly.
It installed also very easily and thats even on my antiquated old IBM laptop running Win 2000 and usb 1.1.
All very impressive and certainly would recommend!!
Does anyone know if 3 has a dongle option that will run on an Eee pc which has a version of Linux, not Windows?
Thanks
